DUTIES AND ROUTINE OF SUPERVISORS

• We have 15 supervisors at the centre. Each supervisor maintains a sign-in register of the respective learners in their class. A list of extracurricular activities is compiled and maintained based on information received from parents.
• Parents and visitors are not allowed on the premises for the safety of the learners. Learners can only be collected at gate 10, the entrance to the Grade R Campus. 
• The aftercare contact numbers are on the Grade R gate: 066 178 7971 | 076 795 4755.
• Please don’t ring the Grade R bell!

PLAY AREAS

• Grade R learners play separately on their own playground. If it rains, the children remain in their classrooms. 
• Grade 1 to 7 learners play outside on the field. If it rains, they go to their respective classes.
• Grade RR learners play in their own familiar play area, which they use during schooltime. During rainy days, learners will be kept occupied in their own class.

HOMEWORK

• Each grade is provided with a class where homework may be done, under supervision. Learners are expected to use the time wisely that they are afforded to complete their homework.
• Staff is in contact with teachers to ensure that homework is completed in the correct manner.
• Parents must please inform the aftercare in writing if their children will be doing homework elsewhere.
• Homework that is not completed at Aftercare must please be completed at home.

HOLIDAY FEES

• Holiday fees are not included in the monthly Aftercare fee. A daily rate is worked out and can be paid in cash on the day. Card facilities are also available.
• Funds are used for creative activities during the holiday period.
• Fees do not include meals. Parents are advised to pack enough food for the day.

AFTERCARE FEES

• Fees are only payable by means of a debit order over 10 months, from February to November, on or before the first day of each month. If payments are late, the aftercare service will be suspended. Parents will be notified in writing. 
• The Aftercare follows the same Code of Conduct as the school. Learners who do not follow the Code of Conduct will be given notice and the space will be filled from the waiting list.
