We have three excellent highly qualified coaches assisting us. All three of these coaches actively participate in chess themselves and regularly compete in tournaments. They are David Baxter, Malcolm Fredericks and Lutho Mfazwe.

Junior Chess is for Grade R – Grade 2 children, from 13:20 – 14:20 on Tuesdays or Thursdays (select one day depending on other sport commitments).

Senior chess is for Grade 3 – Grade 7, on Thursdays 14:30 – 15:30.

Classrooms are used for both the Junior and Senior Chess lessons. The coaches split them into the classes according to ability and age groups.

Children exit at Gate 4. There is a security guard on duty, and we have a Chess WhatsApp group.
